Hey guys!
This may be one of the coolest posts I’ve written.
First off- an update on the Superfolder Guide, plus requests for SFs. This is a little long, and you can skim through it if you want.
I’ve decided it’s time to show what we have so far: ORIGAMI SECTION: Jabba instructions (me), Ninja Turtle instructions (TheDarkKnight), Cover Yoda instructions (OY30), Imperial Officer instructions (Zod), Ahsoka instructions (Pauseen), Royal Guard instructions (me), General Grievous instructions (Princess Ella), General Grievous instructions (John), Blacked Out Cover Yoda instructions (me), SF Interview: John (interviewed by me), Rancor instructions (me), X-Wing Pilot instructions (me), TIE Fighters (and others) (me), Rebel Soldier instructions (Pauseen), Jabba instructions (Princess Ella), SF Interview: OY30 (interviewed by me), Cover Yoda instructions (me), DOODLING SECTION: SF Interview: Princess Ella (interviewed by me), MORE STOOKINESS SECTION: Paper Airplane Trench Run (me), Origami Battleship (me).
As you can see, the origami section is quite large. We still have more room (I’m adding more instructions too- Pauseen’s Cover Yoda and John’s clone), but it’s the doodling and more stookiness sections that really need to be filled! I’m also going to add a new flick pencil game, and variations on the flick pencil Death Star battle.
So… requests:
OY30: 1. Can you do a how to doodle for Darth Maul, and two of your favorite Star Wars characters?
Jeff/ Cheezy Broccoli: Can I add your Mace instructions? (If so, could you give me the link?)
And everyone: Even if you’ve submitted something, don’t be afraid to submit more! If you have a game or doodle technique especially.
Okay, we are past the Superfolder Guide Meeting!
Before we get to entering the contest, I have some really cool origami to show…
1. A MYNOCK! This is my favorite, possibly! Two pieces of paper, one for the mouth, another for head. The mouth is pretty cool, as it took a lot of squash folding a preliminary base, then two sort-of petal folds. The special part about this guy? The mouth opens!!!
2. TIE Fighter! I really like this, because in one fold it transforms into 3-D! (This was design actually made a few weeks ago.)
3. Lastly for origami, an elephant! This has some pretty advanced folds, and it has eyes, ears, a trunk, eyebrows, and the rest of it’s face!
Now, for the April Contest! Please enter in the comments! I think John has entered already.
That’s all!
My Kade Chan dragon. I think I wrote the link in the past post. And sure, I’ll make the instructions.
I’ll post mace instrux asap.
