I like my classroom. The teachers and students are nice, and I usually enjoy it a lot. Recently, my best friend gave me origami paper. (It’s awesome and huge. I can’t wait to fold it.)
A kind of weird thing happened today. We were studying Shakespearan insults, and we had to make up insults from the words that he used in his plays and sonnets.
So Brenna* comes up and does a Shakespearan insult to me, who is next. (I’m not offended, this is actually pretty funny.)
(*An INCREDIBLE computer artist!!! See her blog here: https://realmofbrenna.wordpress.com)
Everyone is like, “Ooh! Good one!”
So I have to insult Robert, who is next after me. And chaos breaks loose:
Me: [Shakespearan Insult, I don’t remember what it was.]
Robert: LOL [Remember, this was pretty funny.]
Everyone else: RIOT! RIOT! Cam!!! So mean! How dare you!
Then Robert does a Shakespearan insult and everyone goes back to normal. I don’t know why everyone exploded at me. Maybe because I put a little too much acting into my insult. Maybe I frustrate them. Most likely, they were just being funny… But still… I really don’t know.
