Thank you all for coming! And, as well as those reading this, I’d like to thank our guests that have kindly consented to join us on the show. Cubix Rubes are in the house to perform tonight!
Also joining us all the way from her website, My Inexplicably Long Site Title, Stacy is here!
And all the way from Illinois, Faraz (formerly known as badatgaming130) is here!
Finally, we also have joining us tonight, from her newly revived blog… Stitchiella!
So, starting us off tonight, we’ll have Part 1 of the 3-person interview! The interview will be spread out through the post due to its size.
In a matter of fact, here’s the agenda for the day:
Agenda Intro Part 1 of Interview Musical Guest Part 2 of Interview Pros & Cons Part 3 of Interview Musical Guest Part 4 of Interview Thank You Notes Conclusion
It’s going to be an awesome show! Buckle in and join us here, for Part 1 of the interview!!
Interview with Faraz, Ella, and Stacy
Cam: Hey everyone!! For this next segment we’ll be interviewing Ella, Stacy, and Faraz (formerly known as badatgaming130)!
Ella: Hey there, people!
Cam: So, I’ll be asking you guys some questions! It’s so cool to be live with all three of you people right now.
Well… are we ready to go?
Faraz: It’s been way too long. Let’s do this.
Ella: Sounds great.
Cam: Awesome! So I’m going to start out with a question for a randomly selected one of you, then we’ll take turns, and other people can ask each other questions, etc.
Faraz: Sounds absolutely wonderful! (Sorry if I sound off viewers, I’m just trying to act formal as a musician.)
Ella: Sounds great. (XDD)
Stacy: Cool beans 😀 (and I’m trying to act like the completely random person I am because I can’t do any other personalities :D)
Cam: Okay, I’ve randomized the three of you, and Faraz is the first to be interviewed! That okay mate?
Faraz: Yep. Works for me.
Cam: So we’ll do 3 Q’s per person, and then if the other two guests want to ask a question of their own, they can.
I’ll start us off! Faraz, what got you started with music?
Faraz: Well it’s quite an interesting story. Before I was born, my mom would play a CD of Beethoven while I was in her tummy to soothe me. I think that’s where it all really started for me. But it wasn’t til I was 8 years of age that I decided to pursue piano. I’ve been playing piano for 7 years, but I only recently started to put some professional effort into my music career. Today I have some sheet music to some pretty advanced pieces from the classical era, which I am learning right now.
Ella: That’s awesome.
Stacy: Woah, never met a musician before… It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance 🙂
Cam: Wow! Do you have a favorite musician? If it’s Beethoven, who would be your second favorite?
Faraz: Thanks guys. Well Beethoven is my favorite composer, but composers and musicians are two different things entirely. Composers are people who make their own music. Musicians are just the people who play it. So my favorite composers are Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Brahms, and my favorite musicians are Jeno Jando, Vladimir Horowitz, and Daniel Barenboim.
Cam: Ooh, okay. That makes sense. My last question I ask has more to do with your blogging experience. What got you into gaming originally, and then what helped you decide to eventually move on from blogging about it?
Faraz: Well, I’ve always threatened to quit WordPress before, but I never really had a straw that broke the camel’s back until the community died off in my eyes. I lost most of my friends on WordPress in a matter of 1 year, and it eventually went to the point where only you read my posts, Cam. Plus, while I enjoyed playing video games, which might have been the reason I started blogging about it, I never really enjoyed the process of typing all of the gameplays and what happened. It was too long and tedious.
Ella: Yeah. I understand that. What about the first question, what got you into gaming originally?
Stacy: That’s so sad. But at least you somewhat got to do what you wanted in the end, right?
Faraz: Well yes I did. First however, I needed some time to grow on my own before I could confidently return to WordPress. My initial plan was to outright quit WordPress for good, and move on to YouTube. I thought a more thriving community existed in YouTube compared to WordPress. Then I realized in the music world, analyzations are best to be scripted. And I figured, where else to put the scripts than on WordPress?
Stacy: Dat’s deep bro
Ella: You’ve gotten so formal, bro XD
Faraz: I’m actually trying very hard to be.
Ella: Yeah, I can see that. XD You keep deleting and rewriting informal stuff.
Cam: I actually have one extra question: Do you think we could still bring back the old community in some ways? Maybe they moved on from WordPress, but do you think we’ll be able to talk to them again some day?
Faraz: Well it takes two people to make the effort to talk. I personally made an effort to talk to one of my old friends from blogging, Jessenia, and we actually managed to start a group chat with some of her friends as well as OY30, who basically well, slipped off the face of the earth.
Ella: *whispers* jessssseeseeniiiiiaaaaaaaaaa the legeeeeennnnnnnddddd…
Stacy: I thought he died
Cam: I feel like this is the intro to a suspenseful book.
Ella: Geez, I feel like everywhere I go, everyone knows Jess. XD
Stacy: Well I noticed that a while ago, now all I can think of is jack o’ lanterns and black and other dark things (am I the only one who gets this reference? XD)
Ella: I think so. XD
Faraz: Yes. Yes you are. But as I was saying, it takes two to talk. If one person does not make the effort it won’t work. I personally lost touch with OY30 a long time ago and that’s a shame cause we were one of the most dynamic duos on WordPress before he essentially blew up in views.
Cam: I miss Antonio a lot too. I imagine he has just been wrapped up in life. I hope I can still talk to him.
Ella: Yes, you had the bestest relationship. XD
Faraz: No seriously, we did. Remember the WordPressers?
Stacy: I feel like I should know what that is but I don’t XP
Faraz: The WordPressers was a group that consisted of me, OY30, Xer, Cole, McRobloxian, Sfmyrmyr, Brandoboy, and MasterFolder_John. Basically, a mashup of gaming and origami groups doing gaming. But then xer and oy got into a fight over what to do with okaygaming, and then the group broke up. Barely lasted 4 months.
Ella: I feel like I heard about that. The WordPressers.
Cam: Funnily, as a SuperFolder, this was a large part of my old community as well. OY30, Jessenia, MasterFolder_John, myrmyr, and McRobloxian were all a large part of it. Ella, remember the Three Musketeers? The club with Jessenia, you, and I on OY.com?
Stacy: My love life is simple, it can be explain in one word: Nonexistent
Ella: XD Why so off topic
Stacy: I haves to keep up my image as the random offbeat one who kind of annoys everyone while simultaneously being the glue of the group 😛
Cam: We’re getting a bit off topic. XD But I think we should form a group that reunites the community lol
Ella: Yeah. Shall we move onto the other questions?
Stacy: Awesome idea
Faraz: Yes let’s move on please. I’m trying to be extremely formal. It’s not very easy.
Cam: Yeah, okay—does Stacy or Ella have any questions for baggie?
Stacy: Umm… who came up with the name “Faraz”?
Ella: HIS PARENTS XD
Stacy: Lovely name then 😀
Faraz: Well, that’s the name my parents gave me. You see, my ethnic background is different… so we have different names from you freaking Americans. Oh crap I just became informal. Okay secret’s out I used to be a gamer.
Cam: Ella… any Q for Baggie/Faraz?
Ella: I don’t think so – just remind him he doesn’t have to be extremely formal all the time. XD
Faraz: Well in my defense, most of my viewers will most likely be expecting sophistication from me because I’m going over a sophisticated genre of music. They don’t expect me to be spitting out random banter like I did on my gaming blog cause I’m not reviewing rap music or anything like that.
Stacy: WELL U SHOULD IT’S THE MUSIC OF THE GODS
Ella: Yep, I understand where you’re coming from. Uh, that was directed towards Baggie/Faraz’s paragraph. Not Stacy’s comment. XD
Okay, folks! We’ll be back for Part 2 of the interview, but for now put those hands together for a very distinguished rising band, Cubix Rubes, as they perform Calamitous!
Cam: Awesome job Cubix Rubes! We are now moving on to our next amazing guest, Stacy! Are you ready, Stacy?
Ella: *Long, awkward silence*
Stacy: Yeah! Sorry, I’m pretty slow sometimes XD
Cam: First question: Is your blog still going strong? I feel like it’s been an interesting journey recently, with your internet and devices and stuff.
Stacy: Hmm, Well I still get a whopping like average per post of 3 likes, so that’s cool
Ella: Hashtag relatable.
Cam: Story of my life.
Faraz: I don’t even have one friend on my new WordPress account yet!
Stacy: WHUT’S IT CALLED I’LL HOOK YOU UP BRO
Faraz: Okay sellout moment, it’s faraztunezhaidr.wordpress.com
Cam: Wow! Blog post readers—you should really click on that link, as well as the follow button on that page. XD
Ella: I followed you a couple minutes ago. Well, your new account. XD
Stacy: Follow the example of your favorite celebrity *me* AND FOLLOW HIM NOW
Cam: Next question! Perhaps I should’ve asked this first, but could you give us a quick bio? What’s your favorite waffle, etc.
Faraz: Cam is funnier than a lot of people I’ve met irl. And he still manages to keep his jokes PG!
Stacy: I’ll have to go with Eggo for that, mostly because I can’t think of any other brand. I was born in a place where there’s always banjos strumming, fry cooks are the most common type of people, and we even have a type of music named after us! If you know stereotypes, then you know I’m talking about the south!
Cam: Awesome! Alrighty, last question from me: Where do you hope to take your blog in the future?
Ella: To Hawaii.
Cam: Or to the future.
Faraz: Well anywhere that isn’t a third-world country I guess.
Stacy: Hmm, well, me being the extremely smart and future planning person that I am, I honestly haven’t really thought about that. But If I had to make a pick, I’d say I want to be the Pewdiepie of WordPress 😀 Or go to Mars, always thought that’d be fun.
Ella: So, you want to become the world’s most famous blogger. XD
Faraz: So you basically want to be OY30. Yeah good luck with that. We all know how that went down. (No offense bro, I miss you but you can’t just abandon people without reason.)
Cam: So, you want to be the new, improved… never mind, we’re all starting to sound like you Ella. 😛
Stacy: Alas, I can never reach the god-like status of the one called OY30, But at least I can dream…
Cam: Well there you have it! Stacy, future PewdiePie of WordPress. Baggie… Ella… questions for Stacy?
Faraz: Yes I do! Pick me first please! I feel like a freaking child.
Cam: Yes… the one in the back… Faraz?
Ella: Go ahead, Baggie! XD
Stacy: Any questions, any questions? *squints* yes, you there in the back
Faraz: Well I am wondering, where did your self esteem go? You always seem to be pessimistic and always saying stupid stuff about yourself, such as “Oh I suck”.
Stacy: Puberty kicked it out. But honestly, it was originally kind of part of the joke that is my blog, then it kind of became my natural writing style.
Ella: Evil puberty. >:)
Cam: Puberty… PG-13 ALERT! I’ll have to take this out. 😛
Faraz: WHAT, PUBERTY IS PG. EVERYONE KNOWS IT EXISTS
Ella: XDDD Baggie speaks the truth
Stacy: It’s like bugs. You know they’re there, you just wish they weren’t.
Cam: I’m just kidding folks. XD
Ella… question for Stacy?
Ella: No, not really. Except, please take your blog on a vacation to Hawaii in the future, in response to where you want to take your blog in the future, Stacy.
Stacy: Anything for you madame *curtsy*
Faraz: I’ll take you to Hawaii Ella *winks flirtatiously*
Ella: Oh geez, this is gonna start a whole riot of Baggiella shippers.
Cam: PG-13 ALERT!!!
Ella: HOW IS THIS PG-13?
Cam: Just kidding.
Faraz: I’m just kidding. Relax Ella, I got my eye on no one. Because girls usually don’t like me.
Stacy: Shippers are the worst. I’m assuming, I’ve never actually experienced them before…
Pros & Cons
Hey folks! That ending Part 2 of the interview, I’m here for our next segment, mimicking the famous Pros & Cons segment of the Tonight Show, we have our segment of… well, pros & cons.
Today we will be looking at the pros and cons of…
Are we ready to go?
Okay, let’s do it!
Pro: Being able to receive comments on your posts.
Con: Finding out later that half of the comments were spam.
Pro: Being able to write a post on WordPress on almost any device, including phones.
Con: Making a dozen errors in spelling that turned your intended sentence saying, “Wow, my day was nice” to “Ow, my cable is mice”.
Pro: You can blog about anything, anytime.
Con: …You can blog about anything, anytime.
Pro: Sharing your thoughts with the world has never been easier.
Con: Realizing you are running out of thoughts to share.
Pro: You can find the perfect theme for your website.
Con: Realizing it costs $200.
There we have it! Those are the pros and cons of blogging! Now we bring you back to Part 3 of the interview!
Cam: Okay, let’s go to the one that has two L’s in her name… Ella!
First Question! Ella, as you make your return to WordPress, what will you be focusing on?
Ella: Well, it’ll mostly just be continuing what I’ve been doing ever since I started doing the Stitchiella blog, which is mostly posting just what is on my mind. Stuff I’ve been thinking about, stuff I want to post about. Basically, whatever comes to mind, whether it’s stuff about gaming, deep, dramatic stuff about life, whatever. XD
Cam: Nice! Do you feel like the community has crumbled a bit, and if so, do you think it can be rejuice—excuse me, rejuvenated?
Stacy: Juice fixes everything, just like super glue and love, don’t deny it Cam >:D.
Ella: Ooh, fancy words. I think the community of Superfolders has definitely crumbled more than a bit, and I’m not sure it could ever be the same again. But let’s hope that we can bring together more people and unite and respect and accept people, whoever they are.
Cam: HEAR HEAR! *Fires exploding pancakes into the air*
Faraz: Oh yeah that actually reminds me of an interesting proposal I have. And before you ask no I’m not marrying Ella.
Stacy: Aw man, I’ll never get to witness a marriage proposal >:<
Cam: Uh… my last q! Ella, are you really returning to WordPress?
Ella: Who knows.
Faraz: Ella if you don’t come back I will [CENSORED BY CAM FOR G REASONS]
Faraz: Wow, Cam just censored me. Great. And since when have you been G, I thought it was PG?
Cam: Well Ella just corrected my text. I had PG lol
Stacy: If you post the Rated R stuff a group of angry 7 year olds and their moms will be writing some very strongly worded letters to you.
Cam: Do you guys have any questions for Ella?
Stacy: Why am I the only one writing in my proper format?! I demand to know this.
Ella: Because we all have our names instead.
Faraz: I’m writing in my proper format hello am I chopped liver
Stacy: Oh ^^ Well I’m going to keep writing in bold for comedic purposes
Cam: Any last questions for Ella?
Ella: Questions? Anyone? Hello? *squints at fans*
Faraz: No because if I be myself, I will get censored and if I be formal, Ella will be mad.
Cam: Acceptable answer for me. XD
Stacy: I’M SORRY MY BRAIN CELLS GOT LOST LONG AGO AND I LOST THE PART THAT THINKS OF QUESTIONS.
Ella: Wow, eventful interview for me. XD
Cam: Alrighty then! Thank you all for joining us for the interview segment on the Random Show! That concludes the segment, did you guys—
Faraz: WAIT! I didn’t get to say my proposal yet.
Cam: Oh dear… 😮
Music Guest – Part 2
Let’s give our band of the night a welcome once again as they perform First Steps! Once again, Cubix Rubes!
Cam: Let’s get another round of applause for Cubix Rubes! Alrighty… if I recall, Faraz was going to, uh, make a proposal?
Ella: Guess what Stacy, you’re gonna witness a proposal. XD
Stacy: *gasp* REALLEH DON’T PLAY WITH ME
Faraz: Ella will you – nah I’m just kidding. Anyways the proposal is, I want to create a new group with you guys on a new site that I will create, where we can just have chats and have fun. Are you guys down?
Ella: To oy30. To oy30. To oy– Ah geez. To a new group. How boring. XD
Cam: Like, just a random blog featuring us (and potentially other friends)?
Ella: I’d definitely be down for that, Your Formalness. “Are you guys down”
Stacy: YEAH TOTALLY (SHUT UP I’M NOT BEING UNNECESSARILY LOUD)
Cam: I have one condition though. May I voice it?
Faraz: What does voice mean?
Ella: Fancy word for say it. XD
Cam: Can we agree to keep it PG?
Faraz: Well obviously PG, but the thing is we have different definitions of PG. So we’d have to come to agreement in advance on what’s acceptable and what’s not.
Stacy: Shoot man, I have no voicing skillz. Tru dat, my definition of PG is be sparing with the *Someone in the audience coughs* jokes.
Ella: Keeping it PG sounds good. Can everyone just quickly type out their definitions of PG?
[Everyone types out definitions]
Cam: Okay, we basically agree then. I gotta check with my folks if it’s okay to do the site and stuff, but I’d be fine with it. Thanks folks, that concludes our segment!! Did you guys enjoy?
Ella: *nudges Mr. Formalness* Yes, very much so.
Stacy: It was a most pleasant experience, I hope to join you all again some day at a later date in the near future *violently kicks Mr. Formalness under the table* 🙂 Also, ALL HAIL MARKIPLIER
Ella: ALL HAIL ME
Faraz: PRESTONPLAYZ RULES!
Cam: Thank you everyone! We’ll be back for THANK YOU NOTES!
And we’re back for Thank You Notes! I feel like it’s been long overdue that I reach out to some people about the blogging community and thank them, so if it’s okay, I might do my thank you notes. Is that alright?
Okay! Let’s just get out my pen and notes and…
Um… Riley/DumCheese, can I get some thank you note music?
(Actually courtesy of Phillip via YouTube.)
Thank you… Badatgaming130, for having the initials B.A.G. but not being a plastic friend.
Thank you… WordPress Reader, for giving me three key word suggestions: Fabulous, Food, and WordPress.
Thank you… Stats page, for showing me that my blog was most popular in April…
… of 2014.
Thank you, Xavier (the only person in Poland I know), for viewing this blog.
Over 3,000 times.
Thank you, Superfolding community, for showing me that true friendship can come from crazy things.
Such as folding paper into Star Wars finger puppets.
There you have it! Those are my Thank You Notes!
Now I’ll be coming to the conclusion here—I’d like to thank badatgaming130, Stacy, Ella, and Cubix Rubes for joining the Random Post crew for an episode and being a fantastic team! I’d also like to thank anyone who took the time to read this post and really enjoy it—the post took around two weeks of work!
At any rate, the Random Post has made its grand return! I’d like to lastly thank the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for being a fun basis on which to return.
That’s it everyone! Good night!!
