Tom Angleberger is doing an event to raise money to fight the effects of Hurricane Irma! The goal is for us all to fold a combined 1,000 Yodas. I challenge everyone reading this to do it! The origami is very simple, and the rules are too!
In short, the participant must set a timer for one hour and fold as many Yodas as possible. Tom also explains it nicely on his website.
If you take this challenge but you are not a Superfolder with an account, no worries! Just email me how many Yodas you folded at firstname.lastname@example.org with a picture, and I’ll submit your stuff for you. I hope you trust me enough to know that I will, of course, credit you for your hard work. And no worries if you don’t fold too many—any amount is awesome!
Here’s a simple, 5-fold version of Yoda, courtesy of Tom Angleberger.
This was my entry! In the hour I had, I folded 219 Yodas! Here is a time-lapse of my work.
Now I have to figure out where to add these Yodas too! (I have a bunch of others I did in a different SF challenge in a bin, so perhaps I’ll add them there.)
